I’m passionate about helping other women to achieve their potential under God, and that’s why I think mentoring is so important. I’ve been mentoring people for most of my adult life, before I knew there was a word for it, but mentoring more formally since 2005. I’ve particularly enjoyed mentoring women clergy through job moves such as from curacy to first incumbency, and helping people who are exploring a vocation to some kind of authorised ministry, but open to a wider range of mentoring conversations.
I’ve been ordained in the Church of England since 1994 and served in urban, suburban and rural churches, as well as training Readers (LLMs).
I’m Membership Secretary of AWESOME, a support group for evangelical Anglican women clergy, and I’ve written two books about women in church leadership, including Growing Women Leaders.
