I have a deep passion for discipleship, working with individuals to help them realise their full godly potential, to guide them towards a fulfilling future, and to help build them into spiritual houses. I believe that everyone has gifts, talents and abilities, and that individuals need other people sometimes to recognise these, call them out into the light and have someone who can encourage and back them on their journey to being a success.
It is also necessary to have accountability, an important ingredient for growth and I believe I am called to serve this purpose. As such I have co-founded a consultancy business, based on 1Peter2:4-6 to help to build people and businesses up, to recognise the skills and potential in them and to bring the ‘gold’ out through applying the professionally trained coaching and mentoring techniques that I have learned.
I am a degree qualified electronics engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas sector and have worked in various senior management roles, latterly working out with the sector, and for my local church, delivering a local community project.
I have had experience working in numerous countries and been responsible for teams delivering services on sub-contracts covering various global regions.
I also have a deep passion for working with teams and creating purpose for each team member, for business, especially business start-ups, and thrive on bringing in systems and processes that maximise efficiency and productivity, especially keen on digital innovations.
I am a professional coach and mentor and affiliated member of the Association of Coaching working towards full coaching accreditation.
“Our roles as Coaches and Mentors is to help clients develop futures whether in work or on a personal level that are exciting, valuable, and greatly rewarding.” – Martin Skinner
