Professional Coach & Mentor | Team Lead | Project Manager | Engineer
I am a degree qualified electronics engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas sector having worked in various senior management roles and been responsible for teams delivering services on sub-contracts worth in excess of £4M covering various global regions.
Latterly I have been working out with the sector delivering a local grant funded community project, while starting up my own coaching and mentoring consultancy business and supporting run a family owned property investment company. More recently involved working within the local Council’s Employability Team to deliver Digital Literacies skills programmes to all ages to up-skill and improve employment opportunities, building confidence and resilience.
I have been heavily involved in church life, serving in various roles including Church Leadership, Men’s Ministry Leadership, Worship Leadership and various Technical roles, I also helped for many years to coordinate our Worship Services aiming to help maintain the flow of the service and serve those involved.
I have a deep passion for working with teams and creating purpose for each team member, for helping individuals prosper in their work environment, for business start-ups, and thrive on bringing in systems and processes that maximise efficiency and productivity, especially keen on digital innovations. Also working with individuals to help them realise their full potential, guiding them towards a more fulfilling future.
My goal is to use my experiences (both good and bad) and my learning to help people to develop futures whether in work or on a personal level that are exciting, valuable, and greatly rewarding.
I am also an affiliated member of the Association of Coaching working towards full coaching accreditation.
Kindest regards,
Martin Skinner
