I have been in Christian ministry for more than 40 years – first of all in Deptford, in SE London, where I learned that although there may be difficult places, with God’s help, none is impossible; and then in Worthing, West Sussex for 28 years, where I learned about perseverance in ministry.
I also worked for a spell writing tracts, booklets and Bible study courses for Christian Publishing & Outreach (CPO). More recently, I was CPO’s chair of trustees until October 2018.
Having ‘retired’ from leading my Baptist church several years ago, I now minister in churches of all denominations at home and also abroad, most recently in Brasil, Egypt, India and Israel.
I mentor other church leaders and particularly enjoy helping churches and their leaders grow in their understanding and experience of the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Recognising that many church leaders plough a lonely furrow and sometimes feel discouraged and disillusioned, I count it a privilege to be able to get alongside and support them in any way I can.
I currently mentor church leaders from Anglican, Baptist, Elim and independent churches, including 4 by Skype (one in Asia and another in Romania).
